Angela Walker Obituary
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years.
But start out bravely with a gallant smile.
And for my sake and in my name.
Live on and do all the things the same.
Feed not your loneliness on empty days.
But fill each waking hour in useful ways.
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer.
And I will comfort you and hold you near.
Never, never be afraid to die.
For I am waiting for you in the sky.
Angela Goshon Walker was born on April 6, 1967 to Elmer and Levertha (Bird) Walker in Okmulgee, OK.
Angela received her education in Sapulpa, OK.
She professed a love for Christ at an early age.
Goshon as she was affectionately called by family, loved to converse with different people. She was also very private.
She went home to be with the Lord, February 14, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leave to cherish her memories, her cousins, Larry (Inez) Bird, along with relatives and friends that will miss her.
A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, March 1, 2025, 11:00 a.m., House of Winn Funeral Home, "Precious Memories Chapel" 607 E. 5th Street, Okmulgee, OK; with Rev. Phillip Williams, cousin, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK.
Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn-Okmulgee

I've done Angela's hair for several years. I'm so glad I received a call to be told of Angela's passing. I'm so going to miss our amazing conversations. Angela has been such a blessing to me! What a wonderful woman she was. I'm extremely grateful to have known her and crossed paths with her. She'll be missed definitely by me!!
