Agnes Katherine Kolendowicz Obituary

Agnes Anna Kolendowicz, 88, of Mansfield Township, NJ passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025 at her home with her loving son by her side.
Agnes was born on June 22, 1936 in North Arlington, NJ, the youngest of 13 children born to the late John and Mary Slifko
She was a graduate of Kearny High School. Agnes married the love of her life John Kolendowicz in 1956. Together they celebrated 59 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2015. She was employed as a secretary for many years both at Hackettstown High School and M&M Mars prior to her retirement. Agnes loved gardening and watching birds. She enjoyed puzzles and watching Family Feud on television. She will be fondly remembered as an excellent cook and talented ARTIST. She will be greatly missed by all.
Agnes is survived by her loving children; Son, Jan Kolendowicz and daughter; Constance Carideo, daughter-in-law; Jacqueline Weston and her cherished grandchildren; Jessica and her husband Mathew Selvaggio, Jan Kolendowicz III, Justin Kolendowicz, Ryan and his wife Brittany Carideo, Jennifer and her husband Chuck Powell, Jamie and her husband Justin Miller and Jonathan Carideo, Great-grandchildren; Ryder Michael Selvaggio, Machenzie Miller and Amelia Powell, Colton Carideo In addition to her husband John Kolendowicz, she is predeceased by a son Steven Kolendowicz and a grandchild Sonja Carideo.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A Memorial service celebrating Agnes life will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
