Professor Bevel to this day is the most impressive person I´ve ever had as an instructor. He inspires me still to never stop creating and challenging myself. I wish I´d been his graduate student. In 1990, at the age of 61, he was perfecting his hammer throw as one of his hobbies in addition to violin, writing and teaching.
