I was not aware of the recent loss of your sweet Mom or would have attended her service. Please know I share in your sadness.

Odell and Mary Wiley were my parents (both have passed) and lived at 530 Kasold Drive in Lawrence. They and the Joices spent many good times together. Maybe they can continue to do so now. My sympathies to your family.

How thankful I am that we were lucky enough to be neighbors of Hal & Winnie. After Hal passed away Winnie would come down to our house and we had a wonderful time visiting. She loved Hal & took such good care of him. Her family and her faith was always the most important thing in her life. we are so glad she was our neighbor.

Winnie and Hal were a wonderful couple and will be remembered by all of us who loved them so very much. My deepest sympathy goes out especially to Sandra and Charles and all their family members. Winnie is at peace now. I'm so sorry I can't be at the celebration of her life on Saturday, but my thoughts will be there with you.
With my love, Sandra (Sandy) Nease
