Mr. Scott was a fantastic educator. I remember him fondly when he taught me at BJHS during my 6th grade year . His kindness lives on. He will be missed.

David and Rose (Amanda) attended Vinland when Bill was there. He was so good with the kids and made learning Fun, not a chore. He inspired them to be better no matter what, yet knew when to be firm when he had to be. Bill's love of history is the reason Rose became a teacher. Prayers to the Scott family.

Both Adam and Aaron attended Vinland. Bill was a great mentor and educator. He was always trying to lend a helping hand or word. Many fun experiences coaching baseball and basketball with and around him. Good man. Rest in peace. Mike Deere.

Mr. Scott was the best. He made such a positive impression in my life as a young student from Marion Springs to Baldwin Jr & Sr High.
Praying for his entire family. He was one of a kind!

Bill was my first little league baseball coach and a proud Bethany College alum. In fact, I think he nicknamed his little league teams the Swedes. A great man who will be missed.

I had the pleasure of befriending Bill through our mutual health circumstances and the love for KU Basketball. He will be sorely missed in my life. Rock Chalk Bill! Until we meet again my friend.

Mr. Scott had a wonderful way of making students feel included! He encouraged first and then instructed. I had him for weight lifting at SHHS. He did get after me once but it was only for my safety- and it was quickly forgotten. I felt awkward in HS (as most do) but he always looked for a way to make sure I had room to fit in! Thank you, Mr. Scott! You will be missed!

Mr. Scott was a great teacher. I will always remember seeing him at all of the KU basketball games with his Mom. I can remember him juggling tennis balls in class. He always kept his class entertained. Heaven gained an angel with Mr. Scott! Thoughts and prayers to his family. Diane Punzo Penner

I had the pleasure of being a care taker for Bill. Three days a week, I would get the opportunity to put a smile on Bills face. He loved him some KU Jayhawks and his Jimmy Bars! Bill you made an impact in my life and I thank you for that. Thank you for letting me be apart of your life and I will truly miss you.
