My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother, grandmother Vida. Our family were friends to the Mann family back in the 1960's in Saskatoon. Still in touch with Don and Sherry.... best wishes, Susan Harvey (nee Waterfield)

Vida was a truly kind and gracious lady who warmly welcomed me and my former wife, Penny, into her home when we arrived in Saanichton in 1980. From the very beginning, Don and Vida made us feel accepted and cared for, and that kindness stayed with me always. I will forever remember Don and Vida as the wonderful, generous people they were.
May Don and Vida rest in peace together for eternity. My sincere condolences to the family-Stephen, Stuart, and Sharon-and to the extended family.
With love,
Pete
