Several years ago I commuted with Tom from Lawrence to our jobs at the Johnson County planning Department in Olathe. Like many commuters we talked about lots of things and got to know each other pretty well. I miss those conversations and I'm sorry to learn of his passing. He was a good guy, for sure. My condolences to his family.
