Working with Judge Bullock was always a joy. He challenged my mind and I learned all things could be accomplished with enthusiasm and thought. He always brought a smile to my face. Sally Henry, Systemworks (contractor with 3rd Judicial Court)

My sincerest condolences to John, Susan, Cooper and Kiefer on the passing of your father and grandpa. I was privileged to work with Judge Bullock the 30 years he was District Judge. As a judge and lawyer it is my opinion that he had no equal, but beyond that he was a dear friend and gentle taskmaster to me more precious than gold.
He befriended my family and treated them as his own. We saw our children grow together; saw our parents buried together; we laughed and sometimes despaired together.
My wife, Gina, and I consider ourselves very blessed to have been counted among his friends and hope to see him again soon.

It saddened me to hear that Judge Bullock had passed. I worked with him for a while and he was quite a character. He also was important to our family in that he signed the adult adoptions for my daughters and made my husband the proudest and happiest man in the world. This Judge was incredible to me. Tish Coffin

I always enjoyed the judge. He was a big man with a big personality and heart. He knew how to be quiet and subtle when he chose to be. It will be hard to look around and not see something that reminds us of Terry. May you rest in peace and rise in glory.

When I worked as an attorney for the Kansas Health Policy Authority, Judge Bullock did many mediations for the Kansas Medicaid Subrogation program (KSA 38-719s).
He quickly grasped the facts of each case and without fail would guide the parties to an extremely fair result. He would write up his findings in words that everyone would admire.
A wonderful man, he will be missed by everyone he ever came in contact with. Rest in peace, Your Honor. ---Bob and Patty

I met Judge Bullock when I worked in the secretarial pool at Cosgrove, Webb and Oman (law offices). He was right out of law school at the time. So nice to work for and become acquainted with. I was planning my wedding when I learned he was a respected singer. I asked him to sing at my wedding and he obliged me without hesitation. My wedding was in Ottawa, Kansas on December 12, 1964. Everyone was in awe of his voice, including the organist! I have wondered about Terry's health over the years and saddened to learn of his death. My deepest condolences to his family. May God grant you peace at this difficult time, knowing he made a huge difference while here on earth. I will pray for all of you and never forget Terry Bullock.

Anyone having worked with Judge Bullock likely was struck by his brilliant intellect and incredible memory. These talents coupled with his forceful personality made him a superlative judge. He was an effective and entertaining communicator. Pay attention to him and one could learn a lot. Beyond the courtroom, he was primarily responsible for developing Shawnee County's computer based system that served so well until recently retired (many wish they could return it to use). He was a singular public servant and a great benefit to our judicial district.

I worked with this judge and many others in my job as a county security deputy sheriff. Judge Bullock was one smart and pleasant judge. I quickly became friends with this exceptional man. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. This is a great loss to our community.

Judge Bullock was so "sweet!" He was such a "jovial" gentleman. Loved seeing and chatting with him when he would have a mediation at our firm. Such a "nice and pleasant" man. So sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed! To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. He said goodbye to the old world and woke up in Glory - to live forever more! God bless you, Bullock Family. Praying peace, strength and comfort during your time of sorrow.
