My late sister, Susan, would play "Norman" and I would listen with astonishment. Even though, I am Edward, I knew of "Norman" early in life. Susan died in 2013 and Sue died in 2021 but I, Edward, remain alive in 2025. May you rest in peace, Sue Thomson!

I’m 69 now & I introduced a young woman to this song because she has a 10 month old Great Dane named him Norman. I know this song cause I used to sing it with my mom. She was more than happy to learn this

I met Sue while she was performing in Sparks NV in 1965 or 1966. We spent a couple of fun days together. Her son was with her and he was 13 years old. Sue was preparing to travel to Viet Nam with the USO. We had a really nice time...sorry to hear of her passing.

Sometime in the late spring or early summer of 1966 I had the opportunity to attend a USO Show near Danang Vietnam. The entertainer who traveled thousands of miles to give us a little taste of home was Sue Thompson. Thank you, Sue for bring some joy to a Marine who was fortunate enough to meet you and get your autograph. May you rest in God’s loving arms for eternity.

For Sue Thompson's family and her fans.......
May God's holy and immaculate love, grace and peace bring your family comfort and understanding in the passing of Sue Thompson.
May each of her family take comfort and peace in knowing she has returned to the one who gave her life and that she will always be close at hand to her family and to let you know she is still there and will always be there.
When you hear a song on the radio she was fond of, the smell of a certain fragrance, the whisper of her voice on the wind, waking from a dream about her and still seeing her after the dream has ended, these and other things you know about her will be signs she is still with you in some way.
May Sue long be remembered for her music and the songs of her soul. And may her songs bring only the fondest of memories when listening to Sue's music.
Celebrate her life more than mourn her passing as the passing is only a temporary thing. We will all rejoin our loved ones and it may seem like a long time for us, but only seconds later for our loved ones.
For by our love we mourn, and by our love our loved ones are given residence in the hidden rooms of our hearts. And they will always live through us as a part of us in the heavenly rooms of our eternal hearts.

God bless this beautiful lady for the music she was known for in her lifetime. She had a voice which made you think you were listening to a young teen girl singing. She was youthful looking when she was younger. She toured with the pop duo Jan and Dean in the 60s, and although she was either in her late 30s or maybe just 40, Jan and Dean thought she was around 18 or 19. They kept a watchful, protectful eye on her, making sure no guys got fresh with her. I believe they found out how old she actually was and were stunned to discover she was old enough to be their older sister. The duo loved her. My favorite songs by Sue were Paper Tiger, Sad Movies and a beautiful ballad, Never Love Again, which I love with a passion. I've listened to much of her music on youtube, the only way one can listen to certain songs these days, although I do have a CD on Sue with the songs mentioned above. Now, Sue's golden pipes are heard in heaven, with one difference. Her voice is not youthful, but eternal and angelic. Rest in peace, beautiful lady.

Julie, Greg & all of Sue's family,
Worked with Sue on a couple of local TV appearances at KOAT-TV, Albuquerque, back in 1964. She was a most gracious lady, volunteering her time to help us build an audience for a teen dance party. She even treated my wife and I to dinner and her show at one of the local hotel lounges where she was performing. Our brief association with Sue left a lasting impression on both of us. We are huge fans of Sue and her music and have collected almost all of her recordings we can find. Her life spread enjoyment to so many people. Her music will continue doing the same. We share your sorrow with her passing. God bless and keep all of you in this trying time.
