I still think about him and Im pretty sure I always will. He was a part of my life experience and I miss not running into him and am always disappointed when I realize I wont ever be able to talk to him again. Heres to Steve.

Dear family, I remember Steve as a young boy trying to keep up with Mike and me as we played at Grandmas home. We always looked forward to the visits to WV. I'm sorry I didn't know Steve as an adult. He sounds like someone very dear. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Steve and I were randomly put in the same dorm room together our first year at Emporia. Though we had different circles of friends, I became friends with his friends. He was one of the most likable and intelligent people I've ever met. Though we never stayed in contact with each other over the years, we would on very rare occasions run into each other. No awkward small talk was needed. It was as if we had just seen each other the day before. His passing is a loss to me. Penny and I want to express our sympathies to you Dianne and your daughter whom we've never had the pleasure to meet.

The BEST of friends. Put his house up for my bail in Emporia once when KHP hauled me in off the Turnpike. One hell of a guy. Anyone who knew him knows.
Sincere condolences to family.
