Stephen Johnson Obituary
Stephen Wayne Johnson, 60, of Lawrence, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
Stephen was self-employed as a flooring contractor in the Lawrence area.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lawrence.
Survivors include wife, Laura, daughter, Abby Johnson, son, Blake Heubner all of the home; and a brother; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Services: 10 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions to Abby and Blake Education Fund, sent in care of Central National Bank, 711 Wakarusa Dr., Lawrence, KS 66049. Very sorry to hear my old buddy Steve has passed away. We spent a few years working together long ago, times I cherish. Steve was my mentor early on in my flooring career, a great teacher. He will be missed by many.

Laura and Blake, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Steve. I will be praying for your comfort as you go through this difficult time. I think of you both often and have fond memories of Blake's days at LHS.
