When we would come to Lawrence to visit relatives, I always looked forward to being in the pleasant company of Snowdean and her beautiful dolls. She was always so kind and helpful as I was pursuing additional dolls to my collection. I also had the pleasure of knowing her brother and enjoyed visiting with him. When she no longer had her business in the antique mall, she was greatly missed. There are many wonderful memories of Snowdean, and I am grateful to have known her.

I will always cherish the family dinners and holidays spent at Aunt Snowdean's when I was young. She was a wonderful and giving woman and will be missed greatly, just as the rest of her siblings will.

I have always admired Snowdean for her patience and love for children. She made a difference in the lives of many children. Snowdean shared that she had looked after 32 children at different times. Her husband Collie assisted her as he, also loved children. They brought up 4 beautiful daughters! They specially loved their grandchildren. Snowdean was an excellent cook and many of us enjoyed her cuisine. I will miss her! Mary Ball (sister-in-law)
