Sharon Woolf Obituary

I just found out tonight (4-2-13) that Sharon passed away. I was also an autism consultant and we knew each other from trainings and other events. I know how much she touched the lives of children with autism. I'm very saddened by her death. She was a special person!

Sharon touched our hearts & lives when she became my son, Sean's, Autism Specialist. Because of Sharon's kindness, gentleness, compassion, knowledge & experience, she helped me to understand & be a better mom for Sean. She has always been an angel to us & her legacy will continue through the many teachers, parents & students she guided. My thoughts & prayers go out to her family.

For the love shared so generously by Sharon & Amber by making safe haven for all who shared in their lives.

She taught me to listen to that inner voice inside my heart, that it would always steer me in the right direction. Her legacy of love, compassion and understanding will live on through the many teachers she mentored and the students whose lives they touch.

To Amber the the Woolf family. I am just so sorry for your loss. I still can't beleive this. Sharon was such a wonderful loving person and will be missed by many. Everyone that knew her, loved her. She is definetly in a better place and finally free of pain and at peace.

My deepest sympathy to the Woolf family. Sharon and I go back many years. She has always been a special friend with a special talent to love. We have had many great times and many IBPR memories. Sharon will surely be missed by everyone who crossed her path. I love you Woolfer and will see you on the other side.

Sharon, what a wonderful teacher and friend you were to all of us. Your enthusiasm and excitement to help children with Austism and behavior disorders was and will always be engraved in our minds and hearts. You heart and your love for these kids always burned so brightly and showed in all you did for them. Thank you for what you taught us. Thank you for being that example for us to follow. I will truly miss hearing you say "check schedule" in only the way that you could say it. You were and will always be a very special person who did a very special job for very special children.

I light this candle in loving memory of one of the sweetest humans I ever met.

Heaven is a better place now. She was one of the brightest lights on this planet. I know she watches over those she loves.

I will always remember Sharon with a smile on her face. you knew she loved what she did by her contagious enthusiasm. She will be missed by many in this county. I feel blessed to have known her.

My heart is broken, as is yours. The huge hole she has left cannot be filled. My prayers and thoughts are with all her loved ones. Love to you all.

Thank you again Woolf for all you have taught me. I learned so much about children with Autism from you. I will always miss doing the Woolf howl as you walk the halls of JCS, then hearing the response "here comes that crazy girl" with your smile to follow. This crazy girl will miss you!
