Scott Smith Obituary

Scott D. Smith, 41, of Leawood, died Dec. 8 following a fierce, two-year battle with ALS. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Wolverton Smith, and two children, Iris Lauren and Hope Danielle, of the home; parents Mark and Bunny Smith, of Lawrence; and a brother, Drew Smith, of Mission. He is a graduate of Lawrence Free State High School (2000) and Truman State University (2005) and was the owner of BodySmith KC. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Colonial Church in Prairie Village, with a reception following. For a full tribute, see signaturefunerals.com.
