I´ve spent the last 68 years celebrating my Mom´s birthday. How lucky am I? I plan to continue to celebrate her all the days I have left. Love you, Mom.

Well Mom, hard to really narrow down the decades of memories with you. One common theme, laughter was present all the time, and love. She never met a stranger, can't recall that she had harsh words with anyone (outside of her kids:).
One story that brings a smile was a series of polka dance events at KU Union put on by St. Lawrence Center. The dances included beer and popcorn, which made it of course - easier to dance. I got a bunch of friends from LHS to go. Mom was teaching Wellman and Amyx the 'Flying Dutchman' dance. It turned into the Flying Irishwoman. One of the guys didn't grab Mom's arm on a swing and she went flying. Each one still blames the other, Mom never complained of the broken shoulder. She loved all. RIP Sunflower
