Robin Bennett Obituary

November 30, 1960 – September 1, 2025

Robin Denise Bennett, 64, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. Born on November 30, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, Robin spent her early years there before being raised in San Diego, California.

In 2000, Robin married the love of her life, Chris Bennett. Together they shared 25 wonderful years, making their home in Wichita, Kansas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and finally Lawrence, Kansas. Robin was a proud and caring mother to her three children Jason, Reece, and Cara and a devoted grandmother to her beloved grandson, Calvin.

Robin's warmth, kindness, sense of humor and love of decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas, touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her deep love for family, and the countless ways she brought light into the lives of others.

She is survived by her husband, Chris; her sons, Jason and Reece; her daughter, Cara; her cherished grandson, Calvin and her Mother Anita. As well as her dogs Maggie, Winston, Mocha, and Sadie.

At Robin's request, there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lawrence Humane Society: https://lawrencehumane.org/donate/ in her memory, reflecting her lifelong love and compassion for animals.
