Roberta Carmack Obituary
Roberta "Bobbie" Carmack, 57, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Wednesday January 8th, 2014 at home. Bobbie was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 5th 1956 to Archie "Bill" and Josephine A. Carmack. She was a graduate of Washington High School and obtained an Associates Degree in 2011 from Kansas City Kansas Community College. Bobbie loved working with children and was employed with both the KCK public schools and KCKCC for many years. Bobbie was a devoted member of Grinter Chapel United Methodist Church. There she was a member of the United Methodist Women, Laura Dell Circle, and was a Sunday school teacher for the children. Bobbie was preceded by her parents Archie "Bill" and Josephine Carmack, and brother William Carmack. She is survived by a sister Vanessa (Larry) Dunn, brothers Jimmy Carmack, Roger (Linda) Carmack, and friend Gwen (Richard) Brown. Bobbie also had many nieces and nephews that she was loved by. Bobbie had asked to be cremated. Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 5010 Parallel Pkwy., Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be one hour before the service also at the Church.. The family would like to thank all of Bobbie's nurses and doctors that have helped her in her ten year battle with breast cancer.

Long talks at work about work, family and friends, sharing her news about her breast cancer and her fears, laughing, crying, shrimp Alfredo, trips to Grain Valley, her concern about my granddaughters cancer...These are only a few of the fond memories I have of Bobbie. I will miss her so much. RIP my friend. See you someday. Xoxox
