I barely knew Bob,only one of over 30 scattered cousins but stumbled onto a 1970 letter from him & decided to google him and found this. So sorry I didn't manage to get to know him more from this internet age of easy contacting, but feel I know him a bit from reading these messages. At 81 I grieve for all the younger cousins who are gone. I was Catherine Ann Naegelin, only daughter of Bob's father's older sister Marie. My condolences to all the family.

Mary Ann so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was a great friend and will be missed by all. The boys still have a favorite Bob story to tell. You are in our thoughts an prayers.

Who's going to wake us up on 4th of July? Who's going to laugh loud at my jokes? Where is that light up Christmas tie? I know you can hear me Bob as we whisper, "We love you and we miss you!"

Mary Ann and Family. Words cannot express the sadness we are feeling of Bob's passing. We can only say how much he will be missed. You always knew when he was around due to his laughter. He always made you feel better because of his laughter and his smile, but we Have so many wonderful memories and those cannot be taken away. He was a very special friend and we will always love him. He lived life to the fullest. Mary Ann, you and your family are in our prayers. Bob was such a special spirit, and life force..I can close my eyes and see his twinkly smile and slow laugh..like. a private joke between us and the world...I will miss him. Prayers for Mary Anne and family.
