Gloria, my prayers are with you and your family. I always loved Bee - he always made me laugh. He was always a good friend to my Dad when they worked together at Farmland. He will be sadly missed. Hugs to you my friend!!

Oh this is so sad. I saw Bee several times in the past 2 years. He would stop in my shop and tell me all about his family. Rest in Peace Bee.

"COUSIN BOBBY" My recent visits with BOBBY have been in Dillon's as that has become THE place to MEET AND GREET and SOCIALIZE and CATCH UP with friends and family. I think BOBBY was the CHARIMAN CEO and MASTER OF THAT SOCIAL ARENA. If you did not see him YOU certainly HEARD him. He was the CHAIRMAN the CEO and HEAD OF THAT SOCIAL GROUP. It was always a great visit and sharing time and catching up on life, job, family , retirement and CASINO NEWS. He loved his wife and daughter and every conversation included where they were what they were doing and BIG GRIN FROM HIM just talking about them. WHO COULD forget his PERSONAL Car tag that also said it all THE BEE!!!! He had an unmistakable laugh and chuckle that WILL be missed at the DILLONS GATHERING PLACE!

Lots of fun memories of bowling trips with Bee and Gloria. He was a talker! It was great when Starbucks went into Dillons and we finally had a place to SIT and chat. He was always so happy to share with me what was going on with Gloria after she went back to school, he was so proud of her accomplishments. He certainly did not know a stranger and I was honored that he called me friend.

I will miss this good man. He never failed to called out to me when we'd see each other in Lawrence and then we'd have a long talk. It was always good to see him because he would brighten my day. Yes, he was a classmate who will be missed.

There is so much to say about Bee, but it still would not be enough. Whenever I saw him he said Hey girl!! it starts with that signature laugh and smile, I'd grab a chair because I knew I would not be going anywhere. We had good times lots of wonderful memories. You will be profoundly missed, Bee Newman

A fellow '61 LHS classmate who had a wonderfully loud and friendly greeting each time we met somewhere in public. Although I did not see Bee frequently, he was a great bowler and he will be missed by all who knew him.

I will miss Bee's unannounced visits and our casual conversations about absolutely nothing or relevance; just a couple of good friends telling lies on each other and laughing. I will miss those drop-ins very much.
