Robert Hamm Obituary

Robert "Bob" Lewis Hamm, 59, Lawrence, died Monday, April 23, 2012, born June 22, 1952 in Wichita, to the late Leslie Dean and Bernice Marie Weber Hamm. Bob served in the Air Force for 16 years stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Bob was a Service Technician with Bell and Howell for 25 years. Bob was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and KU basketball fan. Bob married Connie Lynn Garton Hamm on November 6, 1971. She died September 4, 2002. Bob then married Angela Jean Seifert on October 4, 2003. Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Lee Hamm. Survived by a son, Michael and Sarah Ward Hamm, Lawrence; a daughter, Leslie and Bryan Hedrick, Eudora; a stepson, Mitchell and Adriann Baldwin, Hutchinson; a stepdaughter, Andrea Baldwin, Lawrence; two sisters, Mary and Bud McCune, Wichita, and Nancy and Paul Johnson, Elk Grove, Ca.; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, with the addition of many friends. Cremation arrangements by OK Cremation and Mortuary Services. Celebration of Life rosary will be at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Wichita, with Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012. Graveside military service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wichita. There will be a memorial celebratory toast 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Set 'Em Up Jack's, 1800 E. 23rd St., Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family.
