I have so many happy memories of chatting with Bob for over 20+ years "at the bus". He was a great Jayhawk. My thoughts are with you, Steve, and your family.

Bob was a great sportscaster in Hays, Ks and a "rockstar" in the community. His broadcasts were awesome! When my father attended KU BB games with me at Allen Fieldhouse my father went in search of Linda (a former student) to say hello and then was able to give a big wave to Bob. Bob was like that - he remembered his Hays roots and acknowledged the people who supported him from the "beginning". Rest in Peace Bob and may his son and family feel the love he and Linda shared with the world!

My thoughts and prayers are with
Steven ,Katie and their children.
Bob was one of a kind. And, I believe, that wherever he was he was the same kind with everyone... authentic, loving and caring, able to put a smile on someone“s day and was always ready to help.
I met Bob and Linda in 1986 at the First United Methodist Church. I smile when I think about sharing ministry with them.
