It’s a tragedy how the Lawrence Journal-Word and Bert Nash reduced his life to a label of mental illness.
Mr. Blank was my friend, and I sincerely hope that people learn his sole mission in life, as much as he hated this world, was to restore Lawrence, Kansas, with a foundation of peace and love.
I even tried to get him an art showing at the Lawrence Arts Center—great artist! They declined. Their loss. I could say more about that, but I’ll stop with that story.
Long live Rob Blank! Precious love. Thank you.

Used to see him all the time on 9th street and when you honked your horn he would always wave and flash you the peace sign. Lawrence has always had certain people in Lawrence that were easily recognized and were a joy in the community and ROB was one of these people. He is being taken care of now and GOD BLESS him for the joy he brought.
