In loving memory of a wonderful person and nurse educator, Rita was my nursing instructor at Washburn's School of Nursing. I enjoyed her classes and her kind smile. She helped teach and create alot of professional nurses ! What a a giving gift and legacy! Liz Miller-Roy Miller RNBSN Alume

Rita was one of my favorite nursing professors during my years at Washburn. Her sense of humor, warmth, kindness, and expertise helped shape my practice. I will always remember her rolled up scrub pants! She was a wonderful person and on the occasions I ran into her in more recent years, she always remembered me and we had a nice chat. This lovely lady and stellar nurse will be missed. To Dick and to the rest of the family, I wish you peace and healing.
