Ray Rummel Obituary
Ray was born in Atwood, KS September 29, 1946 to Marian and Floyd Rummel. After graduating high school, he went on to serve the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Ray had a long career with BNSF Railway and retired in 2006, with thirty four years of service.
Outside of work, Ray enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with family, fixing anything with a motor, and helping any family or friend with anything he could.
Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Maureen Rummel; his four children Ryan, Kevin, Erin, and Rachael Rummel; six siblings, and fourteen grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents, and three of his brothers.
We invite you to celebrate with Ray's family at Johnny's North in Lawrence on November 17, 2024 from 11:30-2:30pm.
