I am a mom of one the girls on the KU club soccer team and I just wanted to share how much I loved watching Piper play. She was not only an amazing keeper but she did everything she could for the team and the girls on the team. Her love for the girls was so big. She was very hurt at Nationals. She had bruised her ribs so bad we thought she may have broken one. She continued to suit up in torrential downpours and she is the reason the team made the finals. Her determination to show up for these girls was unlike any other I have seen. You can only describe it as love. She received the keeper of the tournament award and the committee didn´t even know she was hurt. Piper is a stud! She will be so missed. She is so loved and she will continue to make saves for the girls on the team both on and off the field. We love you Piper
