I am deeply sorrowed to hear of Jessie´s passing. He was a great neighbor in Vermont. Dayna, having recently lost my loved one, my heart goes out to you. Hope you will come back to Vermont someday. We have conversations to finish and buckthorn to eradicate.

My uncle Jesse integrated the weight room in Berkeley, California at the YMCA, by bringing in three small women to learn to lift. I was one of the lucky ones at age 17, and learning to be powerful has stuck with me my whole life.
