Orinda Avey Obituary
She was born on December 9, 1922 to Henry and Matilda (Wulfkuhle) Stull in Lawrence, Kansas.
On September 29, 1947 she married Irven C. Avey in Stull, Kansas. Orinda and Irven lived in Lawrence, Kansas briefly and built their own home in 1952 in Topeka and resided there until 2019.
Orinda is survived by her daughters; Delores "Dee" Miller, Deborah (Steve) Esquibel, six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Irven C. Avey, father; Henry Stull, mother; Matilda Stull, sisters; Alberta Casey, Evelyn Stull, Eola Casey, Zella Stull, Mary Ann Johanning, Luella Rinard, and son in-law; Darrell Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, 11:00 am at the First Congregational Church, 1701 SW Collins Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66604, with visitation at 10:00 am.
Interment will take place on immediately following service, at West Lawn Memorial Gardens 820 SW Auburn Rd, Topeka, KS 66615.
