Just heard that Bud had passed in January. I first met him about 5 or 6 years ago, here in Nacogdoches, Texas as he was driving through to pick up a load of used casting sand at the NIBCO manufacturing plant to carry to Colorado, if I remember correctly. We met at a local restaurant here and just started talking about everything under the sun, from politics to trucks and everything in between. Sure, going to miss that guy. It's a lonely like on the road as a truck driver and he just needed someone to talk to as he was passing through, even though he had his old dog with him he just needed someone who he could call his friend. Katie, I'm really sorry about your lose and will be thinking about you and remembering him as well.
