Ola Faucher Obituary
Ola was born on April 6, 1949, in Salina, KS, the daughter of John Lucas and Chrystal Cleo (Copeman) Stover.
She was the Director of Human Resources for The University of Kansas until she retired in 2019.
She married Ted Allen Faucher on May 26, 1972, in Los Angeles, CA. He survives at home. Other survivors include her three children: Chrystal Hunter, Lysette DeBoard, and Andre Faucher; grandchildren: Alexandria, Gabriel, Zoe, Elijah, Gryphon, and Drake and great grandchild: Jack. Ola was preceded in death by her parents, half-brothers: Darrell and Dale Stover and sister: Oma Lacey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to KU Endowment for the benefit of KU. My condolences to Ted and family for your loss. I remember when I was 14 years old and did not speak English. Ola Spoke to me in French. I understood bits and pieces. She was a great person in life.
