I was very sad to read about Sue's passing. I taught at Lawrence High School for many years, and of course knew and respected John Forbes. I met Sue at numerous LHS events and in recent years at our shared beauty salon. I just saw her weeks ago, and she looked (as always) beautiful, and had that wonderful smile on her face. I feel terrible for the family to have lost this special person. I'm truly sorry . Pat Nemchock

You were blessed to have such a lovely mother. She was so special. I know you will miss her. I'm sure you have wonderful memories.

I will miss her friendship but I will remember her smile, her optimism, her kindness to us, and how much she loved life with John, her girls, her sisters and grandchildren. It is hard to think of life without her. May God bless and comfort her family always.

Sue....so very sad about your moms passing! Your post before she went into surgery, to me, sums up up your moms strong will! I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her but I could see and feel her love of life and especially the love of her family. Sending you and your family love and prayers!

So very sorry for your loss, Sue and I had a long phone conversation when my mom died, she helped me alot. She also was the first person to come comfort me when my dad died. Wonderful lady Iwill miss her. Velda and Jimmy Dick

What a beautiful and fun lady that we
enjoyed at the American Legion on Thursday nights. She was always positive and so energetic with her
smiles. We will miss her so much.

I am so saddened to hear this, I am so glad I got to see her last week. She and I had so many shared stories over the past 11 years. She lived such a full life, I always told her to write a book, we laughed about that often. I'm glad she is now with her beloved John. Rest in peace friend, I'll miss you.-Cinnamon
