I've known Nan almost my entire life. I was shocked to hear she'd passed. Nan taught me to cook and paint during a year long stint of cancer in 1997, I was 14. We played the piano and cello together for fun. I'll always remember her laugh and her always telling me to "never give up." Thank you Nan. For being my rock during the hardest time in my life. I wish I could have been there for you. All my love.

I am so glad that I have had the opportunity to become good friends with Nan. I started cleaning her house many years ago and it became so much more.I will never forget that any time I would bring her flowers, she would always tell me that I was a peach. She will be missed dearly.
With Sincere Sympathy,

We were surprised and saddened to read the obituary this morning. We often are reminded of Nan by the moonlit landscape she gave us as a wedding present. With regret, we have lost contact with the family, which has our heartfelt wishes.

She was and is a sweet soul who pained beautiful trees, loved her wonderful friends and children, and lived beautifully despite many years of serious pain from migraines.

With deepest sympathy to the family during your time of sorrow. Psalms 46:1 says: God is for us a refuge and strength during this difficult time and may God grant you the comfort to endure.
