Michele Hinkle Obituary

Michele Dana (Tirendi) Hinkle, 62 of Lenexa, Kansas was called home after a long battle with cancer to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, while surrounded by her family.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Hope Alive Church, 9675 West 159th St., Overland Park, KS 66221. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Michele was a loving wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. Her compassion and love for her dogs was unbreakable. She assisted many lost animals in finding their way home as she always worried they were hurt, lost, and needing her assistance. She had a heart of gold.

Those that knew Michele, always enjoyed her fashion sense, elegance, and grace. Her smile and giggles were contagious, along with her love of life and faith in God allowed her to survive for many years with cancer. She continued to be strong and a fighter to the end.

Michele had a very fulfilling and successful career in Sales and Marketing in the printing industry and most recently the automotive industry. Michele and her husband were co- founders of VinSolutions, a successful software company in the Automotive Industry. That company was acquired in 2011 and is still active today. Michele had a passion for using her entrepreneur spirit along with her husband to assist in creating the best products possible for their clients. She had a knack for handling challenges by going at them with a strong but appropriate attitude.

Michele loved her family and spent most of her free time with her husband and extended family. She loved to travel and spend as much time as she could at the beach.

Michele's artistic abilities included painting, drawing, interior design and the ability to create beautiful flower arrangements to adorable holiday ornaments. She put a special touch of love into all her creations.

Michele is preceded in death by her parents: Jean and Anthony Tirendi. Her father and mother-in-law, Francis O and Faye Hinkle and three brothers-in-law; Peter Hill, Vic Marascheillo and Greg Place.

She is survived by her husband, Francis Eric Hinkle; along with her brothers, Guy (Martha) Tirendi, Anthony (Erica) Tirendi and sisters, Carol Place, Martine (Tom) Duran, Gina (Rob) Kuhasz and Cari (Bill) Biehl. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and her husband, Polly and Russell Meigs and her brother-in-Law, Benjamin Hinkle. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
