It has been a pleasure learning from you and also having you in my life or touching part of my life. thank you for teaching me the ways and walks of life. being the wise old owl.Everyone learns from someone that teaches them something in life. We learn hands on, visual, through the books, or even being taught face to face or even by our senses. thanks for teaching me something and never daughting me and instead believing in my and showing me how to have an open heart.

I had the honor of meeting Mike on one of their trips to Lawrence KS. So glad I got to meet this special person. RIP, Mike.

Mike and graduated High School together in the Netherlands. After graduation we vacationed in the U.K. and Glasgow, Scotland for 10 days. While I was living in Austin, Texas I was invited to a Halloween party at his house. We and two others were responsible for an underground newspaper called The Rip Off. Mike made the Honor Society shown in the photo of the ones holding the candles. In the graduation photo, Mike is the first one on the front row and I am to his right.

Hendle, it gives me such pleasure that Mike accepted Christ before he passed. I know that was your most fervent desire. So very happy for him and for you in that regard. It gives me much hope.
I will be with you in spirit at his service but, sadly, will be unable to attend in person.
