I'm just now seeing this announcement. Many prayers for all who love Melissa. I had the privilege of working with her at Prairie Park where she was a gifted instructor & I was a special education teacher. She was vivacious, funny, caring, and just the best. I'm so sorry for your family's loss.

I send my sympathy to the family of Melissa, who was a colleague while we both worked as Gifted Education Facilitators in Lawrence. She was a delightful person and dedicated teacher who was always ready to share ideas with our small group.
