Max Wiglesworth Obituary

Max Wilford "Wiggie" Wiglesworth

Funeral services for Max Wilford (Wiggie) Wiglesworth, 86, Lawrence, will be 2 pm Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

He died Wednesday February 4, 2015, at Golden Living Nursing Center, in Edwardsville, KS.

Max was born April 30, 1928, in Winifred, KS, the son of Virgil and Myrtle Elliott Wiglesworth.

He married Judy Ann Kelly, on January 10, 1975, in Leavenworth Kansas. She survives of the home.

Mr. Wiglesworth was in the Air Force during the Korean War. Later he became a long time member of the American Legion in Lawrence.

Survivors include his wife Judy; son Wayne Page; four grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, sent in care of the funeral home.
