Martha Climer Obituary

Martha "Louise" Climer, 78, of McLouth, KS, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from complications of a recent stroke. She was born August 5, 1938 near Caulfield, MO, the daughter of Luther Marion and Mynerva Beard Taylor. She was a 1956 graduate of Bakersfield, MO High School. Mrs. Climer worked as a para professional with special needs children in Jefferson County Schools for many years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McLouth, serving as church pianist for many years. She was married to Edward Lee "Ed" Climer on August 5, 1956 at Baptist Hill Missionary Church, Elijah, MO., he survives at home. She is also survived by two sons, David Climer and wife Suzanne, Spring Hill, TN, Glenn Climer, McLouth, KS, one brother, Clinton Taylor, Jefferson City, MO, one sister, Mary Ruth Kirkland and husband, Kenny, Caulfield, MO, two grandchildren, Benjamin Climer and Sierra Climer, both of Spring Hill, TN, She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Velma Taylor and one brother, Dennis Taylor. She loved the Lord, she loved her family and she loved her church family.
