Martha Albright Obituary

Funeral Mass for Martha (Rudolph) Albright age 93 of Lawrence will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence. The family will greet friends an hour prior at the church with a rosary prior to the service. Burial will be in Pilsen, Kansas at a later date.

Martha died October 24, 2024 at Brandon Woods Assisted Living in Lawrence.

She was born January 15, 1931 on a farm near Lost Springs, Kansas, the daughter of James and Petronilla Rudolph. She married Dareld Albright on November 21, 1950, they were High School Sweethearts.

Martha was a homemaker until the children were grown and later managed the family's real estate properties for 19 years. Martha's favorite hobby was attending Polka Dances with Dareld, they loved to travel and enjoyed time in Europe, China, Hawaii and the Caribbean and all over the United States.

She is survived by her husband, Dareld, her son, Gary and his wife, Mary of Great Bend, Kansas; son-in-law, John Inverarity of Lawrence, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Inverarity.

The family suggests memorials in her name to Catholic Dioceses of Wichita-Fr Kapaun Guild, bit.ly/KapaunGuild or may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary
