Mark Logan Obituary

Funeral services for Mark Douglas Logan, 64, will be on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Victory Bible Church 1942 Massachusetts St, Lawrence. Under COVID regulations, there will be a MAXIMUM of 50 attendees, socially distanced, and masks worn. Doug fell asleep in death on January 8,2021.

Doug was born in Lawrence, Kansas on January 19, 1956 to Samuel E. Logan and Florene L. (White) Logan. Doug attended Lawrence High School, and Mount Eden High School (Hayward, California). Doug also is a US Navy veteran.

Prior to his retirement Doug worked for many years as an over- the- road truck driver.

He enjoyed gathering with family and friends, watching sports, and loved to fish, but the thing he enjoyed most was challenging others to a long debate!

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Maria D Logan-Little (Dee). He leaves behind children, Markus T Logan, LaTonya Phillips, Katoya L. Logan, many grandchildren, two brothers, Samuel M. (Tony) Logan of Pioneer Ca. Scott K Logan, Lawrence, and sisters Debra J Logan-Tolbert, Lisa D Logan-Mathews, and Andrea J Logan all of Lawrence, Ks.

I can't express the sadness that I feel right now for our whole family.
So unexpected. Mark and Latonya hold on tight to one another as always. I love you all Tony, Debbie, Lisa, Scott and Annie. Stay strong for each other. I'm going to miss Doug's sense of humor among a lot of other traits. Love cousin Donna Logan
