Maggie Osborn Obituary
After becoming a registered nurse in 1981, Maggie worked tirelessly to help countless people. Her early career included ER, ICU, and delivering babies. Before her retirement in Feb 2022, she spent decades in surgical and breast clinic nursing, as well as working PRN in nearly all of the specialty clinics at LMH Health. As a woman with a huge heart and warm smile, Maggie made friends everywhere she went. The impact she left on this world is immeasurable. She will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister. She is survived by her son, James Patterson (Jessica) of Wichita, KS; daughter, Sara (Steve) Fonseca of Holiday, FL; step-son Matthew Osborn, of Pratt, KS; and 10 grandchildren.
Her husband, Charles "Chuck" Osborn passed away in FL on December 12, 2022.
Cremation has been effected. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

I have known Maggie for twenty two years. She was a wonderful nurse to me and as time passed by, she became more than my caring nurse, she became my friend. I was happy she was going to be close to her daughter and family. I was sad that she was leaving Lawrence and LMH Health. Rest in peace my friend.

Maggie was a wonderful nurse and a terrific person. I always enjoyed talking with her and seeing her. She was helpful, humorous, generous, and loving. She will be missed. I didn't know Charles but if he was married to Maggie, he was special too.

Maggie was a great friend. She was always loved by our patients. We looked a lot alike in our clinic days and I always felt honored when a patient called me "Maggie". I miss her every day.
