Louise E. Pauls

Inman - Louise E. Pauls, 89, passed away March 6, 2015 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born February 5, 1926 in Hooker, OK the daughter of C. D. and Susanna Karber Schroeder. For many years she had worked as the food service manager at Buhler USD 313 Grade School. She was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, Inman, the Inman Friends and a past member of the EHU. She was an avid quilter and a great cook. On March 16, 1947 she married Irvin A. Pauls at Adams, OK. He passed away on June 13, 2006. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Anna Wohlgemuth, Eva Pauls, and Esther Buller. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Gaylene Van Horn of Lenexa, and Shirley (Kim) Grubbs of Lawrence, 3 grandchildren, Anna (Austin) Unruh, Thomas (Elly) Grubbs, Jacob (Laura) Grubbs, 5 great grandchildren, Holly, Laney and James Austin Unruh, Korbyn, and Quinn Grubbs, and 2 brothers David Schroder of Liberal and William of Adams, OK. The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Buhler Mortuary, Buhler. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2015 at Bethel Mennonite Church, Inman with Pastor Bob Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Buhler Cemetery, Buhler. Memorials may be sent to either Hospice House of Reno County or MCC in care of Buhler Mortuary, 120 North Main, Buhler, Kansas 67522.

We will miss Louise. She came to see us at Continucare from time to time and we always enjoyed her company very much.
