Louella Minnie Ray

Louella Minnie Ray, age 85, long-time former resident of Lawrence, Ks., passed away peacefully on October 25, 2013 in Wheat Ridge, Co. with family members present. She joined her husband William A. Ray of 68 years who died on March 29, 2013 and was buried on October 31 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Lou is survived by 2 brothers, Leo and Roy, 3 sons, Art, Jerry, Gene and their wives, 6 grand-children, 14 great grand-children, 1 great-great grand-child and numerous nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed by family and friends. Lou thoroughly enjoyed life and the outdoors. She looked forward to hunting each and every year. She continued to operate her small convenience store on a daily basis and was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Golden, Co.
