Linda Elliott Obituary
Linda Sue Elliott, 65, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a battle with cancer. She was born on July 22, 1949, a daughter of Ivan and Opal (McConnaughhay) Elliott.
Linda cared for children for many years in childcare. She earned a business certificate from Tri County Technical. Linda enjoyed and loved her family, and will be missed by all those who loved her.
She is survived by two children: Dennis Banta (Dawn) of Jefferson City, Melinda Benedict (Eric) of Tonganoxie, KS; five grandchildren: Andrew Banta, Austin Banta, Paige Banta, Hunter Benedict, Mason Benedict; six siblings: Eddie Hinklin, Helen Copland, Alma Walker, Elwanda Borkus, Wiley Elliott, Arlene Johnson. She was preceded in death by one brother: Lloyd Elliott.
Services will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Linda's grandchildren education fund, in care of the funeral home.
