Linda Buckins Obituary

Linda Sue Buckins, 75, Alma, Georgia, died Friday, July. 19, 2024 at Hospice Satilla in Waycross, Georgia. She was born to John Franklin Barnes and Erma May (Elms) Barnes, July 23,1948 in Rolla, Missouri. Linda was a homemaker that loved sitting outdoors. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Erma Barnes. Linda's siblings include Everett Barnes, Leroy Barnes, Jimmy Barnes, Johnny Barnes, Pat Bailey, Kay Opper, and Virgie Farmer. She is survived by her husband Donnie Buckins, Alma, GA. Linda has six children, Jackie Gilby, McPherson, KS, Lindsey Gilby, Alma, GA, Dusty Sydow, Coral Beach, FL., Toni Roberts, Lecompton, KS, Angie Cothren, Alma, GA, and Sam Sydow, Nashwauk, MN. A private celebration of life will be held in Kansas on Saturday, July 27th.

I will miss my sister greatly.We came from a large family and growing up with my sisters and brothers was the best part of my life.They were the Best.From a family of 10 there are only 2 of us left.Love to all my family i wouldn"t know what to do with out them.Rest in Peace Linda i will miss our talks.
