Lawrence Nishikawa Obituary

Lawrence H. Nishikawa, Major USAF, Ret., 84, of Lawrence, KS, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Services will be held at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Outreach, 98-939 Moanalua Road, Aiea, HI 96701.

Larry was born September 8, 1933, in Aiea, HI. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In his second career, Larry was an Industrial Hygienist and was a member of the AIHA. He was also a member of St. Margaret's Church and the American Legion. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Michael. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Nishikawa, son Stuart (Gale) Nishikawa, their sons Travis, Nikko, Toki, granddaughter Nora, daughter Patti (Tim) Marnett, their daughters Amanda and Lauren, daughter Lori (Kevin) Price, their daughters Allison and Kylie. I know about Larry only through Sue at KU's Endacott Society. A gentle spirit is no longer with us, but we're here for Sue.
