Laura Rice Obituary
NEWARK: A funeral service for Laura E. Rice, age 89, of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 22, at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Dr. John Fields officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, South Carolina.
Laura passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Autumn Care Center. She was born December 10, 1923 in Royston, Georgia to the late Linzy Franklin and Thora (Anderson) Patrick.
Laura attended Christ United Methodist Church in Newark. She loved working in her flower beds and taking care of her beloved pets.
She is survived by a niece, Revonda Campbell of Conyers, GA; a son-in-law, Richard Wolever of Granville; and a long time friend, Wayne C. (Seanne) Layton of Newark.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Rice in 2000; and her daughter, Gail Wolever in 2011.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, OH 43058.

My since thoughts are with Laura's family. I was Laura's car sales lady and helped her with her cars for many years. She was one of the sweetest people and truely made me smile each time she stopped by the dealership! I'm sure you have Many great memories to keep you smiling when you think of Laura! May the Lord bless her family.
