Kenneth Martinez Obituary

I was brought to LMH to build the facilities and manage a number of departments. I knew Ken as a Board of Trustee member who helped guide the computer developments by asking key questions and providing insights to the pros and cons of proposals. He was engaged. I found him pleasant and a contributing Board member. I wish you and your family Peace at this time.

Sheila, offering prayers for Ken and for you. Every time I think of Ken I think about being in Leadership Kansas with him in 1984. Several years later I remember his phone call asking me if I knew our friend Bernie Norwood. I told Ken no I didn´t know him. In Ken,s kind but confident voice he said I should meet him because he wanted me to run Bernie´s campaign for office. I knew nothing about running a campaign but Ken said I could do it and he would help me. This call from Ken opened doors to learning about the election process and to making some of the best and dearest friends I ever had. Ken knew this but I am not sure I ever shared this with you.
