I still remember Ken and Peggy fondly. I bowled with Ken and Ed Fisher for years and learned sign language from Ed and sign classes at KU. I remember Ken telling me, with a nice smile, that he would not slow down when we talked. It certainly helped me learn. I still love sign and continue learning from 'signing savvy', but unfortunately never see signing in Lawrence Kansas any more.

As a hearing person who learned sign, mainly from my deaf bowling team member, Ed Fisher, I'll never forget Ken and his wife, Peggy. Ken really helped me learn sign by saying 'I won't slow down for you'. My blessings go to any member of Ken's family. Rest in peace, my friend.

I was so sorry to learn of Ken's passing. Ken and Peggy were always patient and gracious toward me as I worked at learning sign language. They are fine people and I know Ken will be missed by family and his many friends.

I first met Ken and Peg Culver when I started working at the Deaf Cultural Center. I had heard wonderful things about them for years, but had never met them.
This was so very true! I always looked forward to when they would be volunteering, because it was such a delight to talk with them. Please know that both Ken and Peg will be remembered and be in our hearts forever.
