Judy Bradley Obituary

Judy Jane Meyer - Harbison - Bradley, 80, formerly of Lawrence, KS. Judy passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at The Piper Assisted Living and Memory Care in Kansas City, KS.

Judy was born on August 18, 1944, in Pauline, KS, the daughter of Ray and Delphia (Bailey) Meyer.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Lee Harbison, brothers, Donald Meyer, Larry Meyer, and Terry Meyer, also second husband, Delbert Bradley, and stepson Max Bradley.

She married Lee Harbison on November 11, 1971, in Lawrence, KS., and had 4 stepchildren with Lee. J.D., Maxine, Marion, and Claudine. Many grandchildren and great – grandchildren who live in Oklahoma.

She married Delbert Bradley on August 15, 1992, in Kansas City, KS.

Survivors include her stepdaughters, Carolyn Schratter (Frank) of KCK, Marilyn Teegarden (Jim) of Gladstone, stepsons, Kenneth Bradley, Daniel Wayne Bradley (Donna), both of Tonganoxie, 15 grandchildren, 40 great - grandchildren, 8 great - great grandchildren.

Judy worked for Woolworth's, many years in food service at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. Then at Tamko Laundry service.

Cremation and Private burial service TBD.

Memorial contributions may be made in Judy's name to American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

I´m so sorry for your loss.. Judy met Donna Bradley during a physical therapy session and that led to Donna introducing Judy to Delbert! It was a match that was meant to be!

Ms. Judy came to The Piper two year ago. Judy was such a great inspiration to all of us here at The Piper. Judy will be miss and always love. RIH Judy.
