Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Moline, KS. Preceded by parents, Frank & Mary Ludlow; sister, Margaret Ludlow. Survived by brother, John Ludlow of Wichita; wife, Carolyn Ludlow of Emporia, KS; sons, Michael Ludlow of Ottawa, KS, Francis Ludlow, Mark Ludlow both of Emporia; daughter, Jennifer Ludlow of Lawrence. I am very sad at the passing of Joe. We both lived in the same neighborhood, on Harding in East Wichita. There were three of us named Joe in the neighborhood. Joe Ludlow who was the oldest, was known as Big Joe. I was the middle one in age and I was called Joey. Joe Holiday was the youngest and was called Little Joe.
I only saw Joe a couple of times after I left home and went into the Army. Once at a chance meeting where we both banked. Joe had a distinctive voice and I recognized it immediately. The last time was at the funeral of his sister Margret.
Joe was a great guy.

Joe was one of my good friends at the post office. Many good memories of Joe throughout the years working with him. Condolences to the family.

My sincere sympathies at the loss of your husband, father, and brother. I have known Joe since the early 1960's when I worked in Wichita. He was a good friend through all these years. My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. God bless all of you.
