Jonathan Moseley Obituary
Jon grew up in Lawrence, and attended Deerfield Elementary and Southwest Jr. High. He was a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School where he lettered 4 years in golf. Jon was a member of the KJGA and played in tournaments across Kansas as a teen. He briefly attended Kansas University and also Allen County Community College where he was a member of the golf team.
He is survived by his parents Paul & Jane (Ogden) Moseley, brothers, Scott Moseley, (Lawrence), Landon Moseley, (Denver Colorado), a sister Emily (Moseley) Rhoades & husband Dr. Daniel Rhoades, (Iowa City, Iowa). His Grandfather, Harold Ogden, & Joan Ogden survive in Lawrence. Jon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce (Bigham) Ogden & paternal grandparents, Justice & Barbara (Knight) Moseley.
Private service will be in November with burial following at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
Jonathan was kind & compassionate. He had a generous heart & didn't know a stranger. He will be greatly missed by his family & friends. Donations in Jonathan's name can be made to Warriors' Ascent, (a non-profit PTSD program for Veterans & First Responders).
